HISTORY OF OUR FIRM
Shannon & Associates, Ltd., was established by Thomas J. Shannon in 1976 when he left the firm of Epton, Mullin, & Druth to start his own firm. He established a reputation as a successful trial lawyer as a result of numerous bench and jury trials on various commercial matters in Cook County, Illinois. He also began to represent a number of corporate clients, for whom he provided not only litigation support but also transactional services involving drafting of agreements; negotiating disputed issues; and offering general business advice. As his practice grew more sophisticated and demanding, he established relationships with a number of attorneys whose skills complimented his own. Shannon and Associates was a result of these relationships.

Mr. Shannon has been nominated for Small Business Advocate of the Year by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce; and has been recognized for his commitment to clients in Leadership and Management Directions, a publication of the American Bar Association.
